Front-End Web Developer
Bring exceptional design concepts to life as a front-end web developer. This position will be responsible for the front-end implementation of web designs and client-requested updates under the direction of the creative director, designers and account managers.
This is a full-time, in-person position at our centrally located offices in Wallingford, CT.
In this position, you will:
- Implement web designs and visual elements into semantic HTML/CSS code, and identify/resolve browser compatibility and accessibility issues
- Implement websites in CMS platforms including WordPress and Shopify
- Create engaging and interactive user experiences through movement, animations and transitions
- Stay up-to-date with the progression of HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, WCAG and other related new and emerging technologies and standards
- Complete client site updates, including HTML/CSS, content, and graphic support

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Programming or related field
- 2–5 years experience as a front-end developer or programmer
- Expert-level fluency in writing HTML/CSS code
- Advanced proficiency working with Javascript, jQuery, React, and PHP
- Experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify
- Experience with ASP.NET and other languages are a plus
- Understands best practices and can create code that conforms with current WCAG accessibility standards
- Can work with Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator to optimize and modify graphics
- Working knowledge of web typography and color systems
- Portfolio or samples demonstrating development abilities
- Candidates responding to this position must currently possess the eligibility to work in the United States
