At Exposure, we believe good design does more than look great—it drives connection, clarity, and impact. That’s why we’re proud to announce two Silver wins in the Nonprofit Website category at the 49th Annual Connecticut Art Directors Club (CADC) Awards Show, held on July 15, 2025.
These awards recognize our work with Youth Recovery CT and Camp Rising Sun, two nonprofit organizations doing important work in their communities.

Youth Recovery CT provides accessible, age-specific resources for individuals facing substance use and emotional challenges.
Exposure developed a new brand identity, including a redesigned logo that features a central lotus with multicolored, overlapping petals symbolizing personal growth, transformation, diversity, and peer support. Based on the new brand, the Exposure team designed a site that offers easy access to recovery resources, information, and peer support.
“Exposure is responsive, efficient, knowledgeable, and flexible," said Pamela Mulready, MS, LPC, LADC, RSS, Program Manager, Wheeler. "We felt confident that we could lean on their expertise in building the scaffolding and functionality of the site and that their design team also cared about the aesthetics of our site.”
Website features:
- Clean, intuitive navigation system tailored to multiple audiences
- Custom landing pages for each target group—teens, young adults, adults, and families—with resources, statistics, and next steps
- Streamlined event calendar that allows users to filter by age range and location

Camp Rising Sun is a pediatric cancer camp that provides a traditional summer camp experience for kids diagnosed with cancer and their siblings, all free of charge. Their site needed to reflect both the joy of camp life and the strength of the community behind it.
Exposure built a dynamic, emotionally engaging site that speaks to parents, donors, and future campers alike. Custom illustrations were developed to reflect the spirit of the camp and create a warm, welcoming experience for all audiences.
Website features:
- Fun elements, bold colors, and playful animations designed to appeal to kids, their parents, and potential donors and volunteers
- Simple, streamlined navigation system that makes information easy to find
- Built in WordPress to enable easy content updates

While this win falls outside the nonprofit space, we’re also proud of our Excellence Award for the new Aqua Turf Club website—a site that proves what thoughtful, user-focused design can do for any organization.
