Ford & Ulrich is a woman-owned material handling solutions provider with 45 years of experience serving customers across New England. The company designs, supplies, and installs storage and workplace systems—including racking, shelving, conveyors, mezzanines, and ergonomic equipment—to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency.
The company had an existing website built by Exposure, but wanted a new site that was easier to update and featured a more modern design. Exposure built a new website on its Web Solutions Content Management System with a fresh design and new product categories.
"The main purpose of our website is to expand our brand," said VJ Penisse, owner of Ford & Ulrich. "Many of our existing customers know Ford & Ulrich for a specific product, like shelving or workbenches. The new website will show existing and new customers that we can help with anything that moves, stores, or lifts products, as well as demonstrate our ability to optimize space, ergonomics, and productivity through the products and services we provide."
One important new feature is the ability for visitors to design their own ergonomic workstations, shelving units, or modular drawer cabinets. "Customers are able to design exactly what they want and request pricing on it," said Penisse.
"The website process has been a long process for Ford & Ulrich, and Exposure has been very patient and helpful in providing guidance on what was required for a successful website."
