Novo Precision is an international supplier of precision components and services to industries that utilize wire, narrow strip and other linear materials in the fabrication, process and assembly of their products.
Founded in 1981 as TAK Enterprises, the company was purchased in 2014 and renamed Novo Precision. Since the acquisition, the company has invested significantly in improving operations, modernizing production methods, and expanding the business. It wanted an up-to-date new website that reflected both its new identity and its status as a world-class supplier to industries including medical, appliance, aerospace, electronics, firearms and power generation.
The site needed to not only provide an overview of the company’s four main product lines—precision wire components, cut to length services, precision machining, and equipment and engineering systems—it also needed to include in-depth technical information.
Web Solutions custom-built a modern new site in its proprietary Content Management System v4 platform. To give site visitors an easy way to review Novo Precision’s products and capabilities, Web Solutions created a Product page for each product, with separate sections for information, specifications, and related videos.
Sherwood Griffing, vice president of business development at Novo Precision, said his favorite thing about the new site is its ease of navigation. “It’s a lot less complicated than it used to be,” he said.
As a longtime client of Web Solutions, Griffing said Novo Precision “always gets good service and new insight from Web Solutions. We knew they were the right choice.”
“Service was quick and very thorough, and Web Solutions was very open to the ideas that we had and was able to work them into the site,” Griffing said. “We’re very happy with how it turned out. We’ve gotten a lot of good feedback already.”
