(Meriden, Conn. – June 7, 2010) As part of its professional development initiatives, Web Solutions Inc. has become a member of CTDOTNET Developers, a group dedicated to helping meet the needs and expectations of developers by providing information, presentations and opportunities to enhance their productivity and enjoyment of Microsoft .NET Technologies. As a new member seeking an active role in the group, Web Solutions jumped at the opportunity to sponsor a group event on May 5, 2010.
The event, held at Microsoft’s Farmington, Connecticut office, was attended by more than 50 members of the group and featured a presentation on the new Visual Studio 2010 Development Tools by Microsoft Group Manager Chris Dias.
“Our success is built on helping our employees grow both professionally and as people,” said Web Solutions Principal Tom Barton. “Our membership and participation in this group will provide countless educational and leadership opportunities for our developers and technical staff. We’re proud to be a part of it.”
Joining Barton in attendance at the event were Web Solutions Technology Director Chris Anton and Human Resource Professional Monica Golino.
“Continuing education is part of our core philosophy,” said Golino. “Whether it’s through networking or membership in professional associations, we encourage all of our employees to seek out growth opportunities.”
