The Youth & Police Initiative (YPI), a program created by the North American Family Institute (NAFI), has launched a new website designed to strengthen its online presence and better showcase its mission.
Founded in 2003, YPI began as a training tool to help police academy cadets better understand youth culture. By 2005, the had program expanded to bring together neighborhood teens and the beat officers who patrol their streets.
"Our site is used to educate and promote NAFI's nationally recognized intervention and prevention program, YPI, which brings law enforcement and youth together in a structured, relationship-building format that is designed to address fractured trust, reduce conflict, and promote safer, more connected communities," said Mary Preston, director of operations.
Exposure delivered a modern, easy-to-manage website built in the Web Solutions Content Management System, giving YPI the flexibility to manage content quickly and efficiently. YPI especially appreciated the new website's streamlined functionality and intuitive navigation, which offers a smooth user experience, with all components seamlessly integrated.
"Our team at Exposure helped us streamline and refresh our site," said Preston. "They were responsive and helpful every step of the way."
