21 for a Reason
The Southeastern Regional Action Council’s 21 for a Reason campaign explores and explains why 21 is the legal minimum age for drinking alcohol, purchasing tobacco products, and casino gambling in Connecticut.

A clean, modern design emphasizes the campaign’s straightforward, fact-based approach. Animations and interactive elements make the site engaging for visitors of all types, with the single goal of preventing youth substance abuse and addiction.
Landing Pages
For each of the site’s four topic areas, a dedicated landing page was crafted to provide facts about the substance’s impact on youth development, talking points for parents, guidelines for store owners, and resources for further information.

Pull-Up Banner
This eye-catching display is a convenient way for SERAC to promote the 21 for a Reason campaign at events. With a dedicated URL and QR code, the banner helps drive measurable traffic to the campaign website.
Tip Sheets
The 21 for a Reason marketing kit includes printable tip sheets designed for parents of teens and adolescents. Each sheet focuses on a single concern (alcohol, tobacco, gambling, or cannabis), providing reasons young people should wait until at least age 21, encouraging an open line of communication, and driving traffic to the campaign website.

Rack Cards
We also designed printable rack cards for distribution in a variety of settings across the state. In addition to those focused on the campaign’s primary areas of concern, a fifth rack card provides important, easily digestible information about Connecticut’s new “social host” law, with tips for staying safe.

Social
The Exposure team worked with SERAC to keep their social media presence up to date with branded, relevant, and timely content. For the 21 for a Reason campaign, we created custom graphics designed to generate interest, drive traffic, and start important conversations.
