Connecticut faces one of the largest student achievement gaps in the United States—80% of junior and senior high school students in Connecticut do not meet the state’s college readiness benchmark and only 20% of low income high schools students who graduate will earn a postsecondary degree within 6 years.

To help Connecticut’s high school students achieve their dreams of higher education, the Connecticut RISE Network—a nonprofit organization founded in 2015 by the Dalio Foundation—partners with urban school districts throughout Connecticut to empower educators to help all students achieve their full potential.

The Connecticut RISE Network has an existing website, but it was difficult to use and update and not mobile-friendly.

Web Solutions built a new website in WordPress with several custom features, including dashboards that enable each participating school to check statistics for a specific student or see school- or district-wide trends.

The site includes custom landing pages for the “Who We Are” and “What We Do” sections, with interactive animations and many custom design features.
